Instant support friction props

Instant support friction props type VALENT-SN are intended for direct and indirect roof support as individual housing or additional reinforcing housing.

The above props are used for:

• reinforcement of roadway supports, as props of straight support of longwall cross-cuts, as well as when reinforcing arch support of roadways with increased tensions and rock mass pressure,
• as stand-alone support props in workings threatened by rock mass tremor,
• or as a reinforcing element for another final support type,
• to be used in roof caving longwalls with individual support

The range of VALENT-SN instant support friction props includes eighteen props characterised by a different maximum and minimum height and having different values of minimum working peak yield load.

Type VALENT-SN instant support friction props have two variants of core print: with fixed and replaceable crown head.

Instant support friction props can be used in non-methane and methane fields, in workings classified as methane explosion hazard grade “a”, “b”, “c” and coal dust explosion hazard class A and B.
