Container for transportation of steel coils

KT-MP-1 containers are used for transportation of metallurgical products, mainly hot- and coldrolled steel coils, galvanised, painted, aluminium and other coils. They are also adapted to transportation of retail and palletised loads.

Technical specificatio:

• Load capacity up to 30 tons of goods.
• Proper structure in the floor allowing to transport steel coils,
• Eliminating the need to use special framework, wooden base and other elements used in the transport by coal trucks or with the use car tarpaulins,
• The speed of loading (reloading) and discharge, thanks to the option to lift loaded container from one transport means to another, e.g. from a wagon to a car or the other way round
• Possibility of transporting long loads, with lengths not exceeding 6 metres.
• Possibility to transport under tarpaulin
• Possibility to transport on the car trailer

Wagons with KT-MP-1 type containers have the option to be loaded with flat products, e.g. sheet metal, billets etc. Furthermore, thanks to stacking of empty containers, you can get space in the wagon-platform for other types of containers.    

Connecting the KT-MP-1 container with a car container trailer makes it a skip type semi-trailer which provides additional transport options from the railway station to the warehouse while keeping maximum safety.
