Hook slings
type VHS 40 and VHS 50
Hook slings type VHS are intended for suspension of drive track rails of suspension railway to the flexible arch support. VHS type hook slings may also be used for transverse stabilisation of drive track (lashings).
Catches of these slings are adapted to attachment on flexible gallery support with the profile of V25, V29, V32, V34, V36 and V25D, V29D, V32D, V34D, V36D,V44D, as well as V40, V42, V40D and V42D, and KS/ KO, whereas: D - means double V section (overlapping).
Hook sling type VHS consists of hook catches, die forged with thread M24 class 6.8 and selfsecuring nuts M24 cl. 8, and lifting beams of bent sheet together with screw M20 cl. 8.8 and self-securing nut M20 cl. 8 and optionally, at the client’s request, shackles (forged shapes).
Hook slings are adapted to cooperate with chains of the following dimensions: 18x64, 16x80, 18x90.
Type VHS hook slings may be used in underground mining factories, in non-methane and methane fields in workings classified as methane explosion hazard grade “a”, “b”, “c” and coal dust explosion hazard class A and B.
Hook sling maximum load (guaranteed safety coefficient n=4) equals:
- for VHS 40 sling – 40 kN
- for VHS 50 sling – 50 kN a VHS 50 – 50 kN
